A Chingay to remember |

Saturday, 4 February was a night that more than lived up to expectations. Chingay Parade of DreamS 2006 rocked the crowd of around 200,000 spectators with its colourful pageantry, breathtaking performances and feet-tapping rhythms. Coming to an estate near you
Following a 5-day Chingay event in Ang Mo Kio during the week, a floats display and parade as well as performances will be making their way to major estates in Aljunied GRC and Hougang on Sunday, 12 February. Minister George Yeo will grace the occasion, which will include a launch and closing ceremony, and fringe events to celebrate Chap Ngoh Meh, the 15th day of Chinese New Year. Get together with family and friends for a fun-filled day of entertainment!
The following Saturday, the fun and festivities will be happening in Taman Jurong. Join Guests of Honour Mr Lim Boon Heng and Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam in catching a mini Chingay Parade including the magnificent grand finale item– the Flying Dragon Dance.
