CHINESE DANCE GROUP

Trained as a professional dancer in the mid-1970s, Poh Soon first joined the People’s Association Dance Company as a full-time senior dancer in 1984. Since assuming the role of Chinese Dance Group choreographer and instructor in 1995, Poh Soon has been behind the Group’s many dazzling performances including a multi-ethnic dance for the Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Programme, specially commissioned items for the Chinese Cultural Festival in 2000, 2004 and 2006, and Chinese dance segments for the Chingay Parade. He also choreographed the National Day Parade – PA Mass Display item in 2003, 2006 and 2007.
